“e-TESS Co., Ltd.” (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) values the personal information of customers and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
The Company informs you of the purpose and method of using the personal information provided by customers and what measures are being taken to protect personal information through the privacy policy. 
The Company will notify the Company of any revisions to the Privacy Policy through the website notice (or individual notice).

Consent to the collection of personal information  
The Company has established a procedure for you to click the “Agree” button or the “I Disagree” button on the contents of the Company’s Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, and if you click the “Agree” button, you will be deemed to have consented to the collection of personal information.
Children’s Privacy 
ο The Company obtains the consent of a legal representative when collecting personal information of children under the age of 14. 
ο The legal representative of a child under the age of 14 may request to view, correct, or withdraw consent to the child’s personal information, and the Company will take necessary measures without delay upon such request.
Items of personal information to be collected
The company collects the following personal information for membership registration, consultation, service application, etc.
ο Items to be collected: Name, date of birth, gender, login ID, password, home phone number, home address, mobile phone number, e-mail, occupation, marital status, resident registration number, service use record, access log, cookie, access IP information, payment record
ο Method of collecting personal information: homepage (membership registration, bulletin board, etc.), delivery request  
Purpose of collection and use of personal The Company uses the collected personal information for the following purposes.
ο Execution of contracts related to service provision and settlement of fees according to service provision
Provision of contents, purchase and payment, delivery of goods or delivery of bills, etc.
ο Member Management
Identity verification according to the use of membership services, personal identification, prevention of illegal use and unauthorized use of bad members, confirmation of intention to join, age verification, confirmation of consent of legal guardians when collecting personal information of children under the age of 14, handling of civil affairs such as complaints, delivery of notices
ο Utilization for marketing and advertising
Delivering advertising information such as events, identifying access frequency, or statistics on members’ service use
However, we do not collect sensitive personal information that may infringe on users’ basic human rights (race and ethnicity, ideology and creed, place of birth and legal domicile, political orientation and criminal record, health status and sex life, etc.).  
Period of retention and use of personal information

ο Your personal information will be destroyed when the purpose of collecting or receiving personal information is achieved as follows.
– In the case of membership registration information, when you withdraw from membership or are expelled from membership
– In the case of payment information, when the payment is due, or the statute of limitations expires
– In the case of delivery information, when the goods or services are delivered or provided (except if there is a need to preserve them in accordance with the provisions of laws such as the Commercial Code) 
ο If there is a need to continue to retain the property despite the above retention period, we will obtain your consent.

Procedure and method of destruction of personal information

In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay after the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved. The procedure and method of destruction are as follows.
ο Destruction procedure
The information entered by the member for membership registration is transferred to a separate DB (separate filing cabinet in the case of paper) after the purpose is achieved and is destroyed after being stored for a certain period of time according to the reasons for information protection under internal policies and other relevant laws (refer to the period of retention and use). Personal information transferred to a separate DB will not be used for any purpose other than retention unless required by law.
ο Destruction method 
– Personal information stored in the form of electronic files will be deleted using a technical method that makes it impossible to reproduce the record.

Provision of Personal Information

In principle, the Company does not provide users’ personal information to third parties. However, exceptions are made in the following cases.
– When users agree in advance
– In accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, or when there is a request from an investigative agency in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by laws and regulations for the purpose of investigation.

Consignment of collected personal information
The Company may entrust your personal information to an external party to process it in order to improve its services. 
ο In the event that the processing of personal information is entrusted, we will notify you in advance. 
ο In the event of consignment of the processing of personal information, the service provider’s strict compliance with instructions related to personal information protection, confidentiality of personal information, prohibition of provision to third parties, and liability in case of accidents will be clearly stipulated through a consignment contract, etc., and the contents of the contract will be kept in writing or electronically.

Rights of users and their legal representatives and their conduct laws

Users can view or modify their registered personal information at any time and may request to cancel their membership. 
Users can view, correct, or withdraw their personal information by clicking ‘Change Personal Information’ (or ‘Modify Member Information’, etc.) to view or modify their personal information, and “Withdraw Membership” to cancel their membership (withdraw consent) and go through the identity verification process. 
Or contact the person in charge of personal information management in writing, by phone or e-mail, and we will take action without delay. 
If you request correction of errors in your personal information, we will not use or provide your personal information until the correction is completed. In addition, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the result of the correction will be notified to the third party without delay so that the correction can be made. 
The Company handles personal information that has been terminated or deleted at the request of the user as specified in the “Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information Collected by the Company” and prohibits it from being viewed or used for other purposes.

Technical Measures for the Protection of Personal Information

The Company takes the following technical measures to ensure the safety of your personal information so that it is not lost, stolen, leaked, altered or damaged in handling your personal information. 
ο Your personal information is protected by passwords, and important data is protected by separate security features by encrypting files and transmitted data or using the file lock function.
ο The Company takes measures to prevent damage caused by computer viruses by using anti-virus programs. The anti-virus program is updated periodically, and in the event of a sudden virus, a vaccine is provided as soon as it is available, preventing personal information from being violated. 
ο The Company adopts a security device (SSL or SET) that can safely transmit personal information on the network using encryption algorithms. 
ο In order to prevent your personal information from being leaked by hacking, etc., we use a device that blocks intrusion from the outside, and we install an intrusion detection system on each server to monitor intrusion 24 hours a day.
